How To Avoid & Disable Facebook Tagging Feature?

Facebook is one of the most used social media around the world, a recent survey expressed that 1 out of 7 users on earth have used Facebook on August 24 / 2015.

By default Facebook has tagging system that enables users to tag each other in any photo or status update. Though some of Facebook users don’t wants to get tagged in photos or status updates but they don’t have any idea on How to stop/disable Facebook tagging?

Today I am going to share this method; it’s not that much hard to disable Facebook tagging option. We can’t disable tagging option on Facebook completely but we can put control on it.

Cover these simple steps to put control on tagging and prevent users to tag you in Photos & Status update:

Sign in to your Facebook account
Go to Settings & Privacy tab
Click on Timeline and Tagging
Now you will see “Review posts friends tag you in before they appear on your timeline?” click on it
Now select On.

That’s it, so whenever someone tag you, Facebook will send you a notification (that do you want the tag to appear on your timeline or not.)
