You can now block Mark Zuckerberg on Facebook. What a Friday. Up until now, you've been unable to block Zuckerberg or his wife Priscilla Chan on Facebook. You'd receive an error message that said something like, “Block Error. Sorry, there was a problem blocking Mark Zuckerberg. Please try again." This wasn't intentional, Facebook told BuzzFeed News a few months ago. Instead, the company says its system got too busy to handle these block requests. Okay then.
Apparently the system has gotten a lot better at handling many block requests at once. Matt Navarra, the social media director at The Next Web, first tweeted about this new blocking ability. Facebook told BuzzFeed News back in September that it was working on a solution, and it looks like the fix has finally arrived. We've emailed Facebook for additional comment and will update if we hear back.

I just blocked Zuckerberg, and it feels okay. I wouldn't say I'm drunk with blocking powers, as I unblocked him immediately after pressing the block button, but yeah, it's nice to have this ability. I appreciate it.
Thanks, Facebook!
