The 75th annual Golden Globes ceremony marks the unofficial beginning of Hollywood’s awards season. With movies like The Post, Dunkirk, and The Shape of Water battling it out in various categories, it’s an opportunity to see what films might end up at the Academy Awards. On the television side, it’s also a chance to see whether streaming services will continue to demonstrate their dominance, through shows like The Crown, Stranger Things, and The Handmaid’s Tale. Then there’s host Seth Meyers, who will no doubt have plenty to comment on given the recent scandals that have engulfed the industry.
